Connector Questions
The Connector is your on-board window to this site's services. It displays an interface specifically adapted for use on the go, through your iPhone or iPod Touch.
It allows you to interact with friends, browse groups, select content for import into FreqLoader, search for other users and shared stations and more.
You can send messages to the friends you've added, that have accepted your friend request or from whom you've accepted a request.
The only message you can send through the system to others are friend requests.
The best method is to find system users, either through Locator::Find FreqLoader Accounts or Connector::Search For::Users, and to follow the directions under Add As Friend.
If that person has already made a friend request to you, this will simply ask you to confirm the relationship. If you are initiating the request, you will be able to add a personalized message and make the request.
You may also add people found through Locator::Call Book Entries. Since there is no guarantee that this person actually uses FreqLoader, the request may remain pending... uhm, forever.
Groups are common areas, created by FreqLoader users, bringing together people with similar interests.
They function like forums or bulletin boards and are places where group subscribers can exchange entries.
You can browse groups for entries of interest to import them into your device and may choose to share some of your own entries with the group.
To find available groups, head to the Connector::Groups section.
Note that groups are public spaces meant to be used by any and every member of the FreqLoader community, so all subscribers are expected to follow the rules of conduct.
Find a group you are interested in, through Connector::Groups, and tap Join Group.
Tap Create Group in Connector::Groups and follow the instructions therein.
When you are within an entry listing (category) or entry details view, tap Share at the top and select the option of interest.
Specific information can be found under share with groups and share with friends.
If you've received entries from friends, you will be notified on the Connector home. The notifications will allow you to queue the entries you are interested for import into FreqLoader. When you are done and want to perform the import, you use Setup::Pull From FreqLoader.
Similarly, when browsing group entries, you have the option to queue one or more for import. When you are ready to do so, use the same Setup::Pull From FreqLoader interface to get the content.
In both cases, once the download has completed, you will be asked whether you wish merge or create new entries with the data.
